However, the argument can\u2019t be proved, since the fact could easily not exist! They usually come with verbs conjugated in conditional <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tense<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, such as \u201cwould, could\u201d etc. Newspapers typically resort to them too.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;<strong>Example<\/strong><br \/>\nThe board of the X party would have met with the clandestine opposition of the neighbouring country (\u201cWould have? how\u2019s that, do you have any evidence or are you just speculating?\u201d)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>To refute it<\/strong><br \/>\nJust stating that any existing evidence needs to be shown should be enough.
